axle swap
ok.....so i have a buddy with a n01 tj wants to buy a 03 rubi and swap out axles.....with of course lockers ect...
how long will this take....average joe
he will no doubt need new driveshaft...what else.....
im thinking starting with the brakes.....2 weeks

They are a bolt in, so with air tools and decent mechanical knowledge 8hrs or less. You can reuse his driveshafts by getting a 1310 to 1330 (double check rubi joint) conversion joint. Swap those in at the axle end and should be good enough to at least drive on.
Don't forget to buy a couple of compressors to run the lockers, luckily they are easy to wire.

Nope they use air lockers. Factory compressors are easy to wire up just ignore 3 wires and hook up 2 of them. They also self regulate to the 5-7PSI that it takes to actuate them.
