body lift question

Default body lift question

i have a 2" spacer lift right now. is it possible to put a 2" body lift on my jeep with the spacers? if so what else would i have to do? thanks.

Yes... one has nothing to do with the other. Won't be a problem at all.

x2.....body lifts fit between the frame and the body tub via the body mounts located around the Jeep.

Though be weary of a 2" body lift. The gap it creates can be quite visually horific! With your current set-up, you may be just as well off with a 1" BL depending on what size tire you will be running, etc.

If you did a 1" body on top of a 2" lift, would you still have to do the sye and all the other mods associated with bigger lifts on TJ's?

Lifting the body has no effect on the drivetrain. On the older TJs and YJs you had to lengthen breather hoses, gas lines, etc - essentialy anything attached from the body to the frame. But on the JK, a 1" BL isn't enough to have to make any of those modifications. SOme guys with a manual transmission have had to do some things with the shifter but nada for the automatics.
