Does Auburn gear make a FRONT locker for my 97 rubicon?
Edit:typo, it is 2007.
I see they have the new ected MAX, but that requires new front axle shafts. Do they make one that does not require the axle shafts?
But then again, maybe I should upgrade the shafts while I am it. I run 37" bfg Mud terrains.
My stock rubi locker quite working. Back one works great.
I am still running my stock 4.11 gears. Indiana is flat, and they are not bad.
I really don't want to hear about arb, etc etc. I like the auburn clutch limited slip when off.
Thanks for any info!
P.S. If you think I should go with the max, then what axle shafts are a good value?

You have a 97 Rubicon you say? You have a Rubi front axle?
Auburn will work it only comes in stock 30 spline for D44. You do not need new axle shafts, but you will need a new ring and pinion as the Rubicon gears are thick cut, and you will need a standard D44 gear set. Its part number AUB545019.
