HELP - YJ 4wd problem!
Hello...
I have a problem, a big problem... I own a 95YJ, a 97TJ and on 07JK and am selling my YJ to a friend.... it has always worked fantastic, until TODAY!
So in 2WD it works fine, (It is an automatic 4cyl) and when you pull back the lever to go into 4WD it behaves normally (No extra effort needed or anything) and then when you start to accelerate, around 20MPH the whole vehicle starts to rumble (like vibrate and shake sortof) and it does not normally do this... until today. So when you push it back into 2WD it takes longer than normal for the light to go away and there is a noticeable THUD! and it's back in 2wd... please help, any thoughts?
I just checked the transfer case and made sure that it was topped off with fluid and that seems all good, I also jacked up the front end in 4WD and spun the tires and the other one will spin freely in reverse just fine (if that helps) thanks in advance!
