oops...I changed my signature before I read your post. I put that in there just to let folks know that my JK order status had changed. I'm happy to own my new '06 LJ Rubi, but i'm not proud about cancleing my JK order. That's why I changed my signature.

Yeah....I did cancle it.....But, believe me, it wasn't an easy desision to make.
I fought with myself over and over about it while I was waiting for it to start being built.
I'm not gonna put the JK down in any way, because I will own one someday.
I just deciced to wait a few years before I get one.
My Dad (that's passed away) used to always say, "Never buy the first year of a brand new model vehicle, because
they always have bugs that need to be worked out of them."
I was gonna go against my better judgement and get the JK any way, but any time there may have been even the slightest form of a problem.
My Dad's ghost would be right there whisperin' in my ear, "See...I told you.....You shouldn't have bought that first year model."
When he was really pissed off, he also used to yell, " Nobody listens to me!!!!" Well...I guess this is my way of letting him know that
not everything he said went in one ear and out the other.

I'm sure some folks will think that my reasons are lame, but that's OK, that's their opinion.
I'm comfortable with the decision that I made...and for me...that's all that really matters.

PS: I'll be postin' some pics of my '06 LJ as soon as I get some nice sunny day time shots.

 

Im sorry to hear that, but I don't think those were lame reasons. I do the same thing also with my dad, he too is dead. So we all have our personal reasons, and I think we all can respect them.

 

I guess this thread isn't very funny anymore.
