New to the site, need some help.

Changed oil about a week ago then notice oil pressure dropping with rpm's. Checked oil no change in levels., Talked with friend and I was told it was probably my oil pressure sending unit and that I would need a special wrench to remove it.
Would like to know if this is true?

I drive a 1997 TJ 4 cyl.
