Default Radio/Lights wont work

So I am a new 94 YJ owner , had the jeep for about a month-took the hard top off (and on the third day) got caught in a Colorado down poor! The radio and doom lights (one by your feet) worked for about a week, but now the radio/lights dont work. I did take the jeep home and dry it out, but I think I might have done something to my baby! I looked at all the fuses, they are ok. I bought a Haynes Manual thinking it might be an electrical problem, but I don’t see how lights and radio are connected. Any thoughts?

Your lights and radio may share a comon circut that is connected to the ignition relay. Check your ignition wiring.

If the radio is not stock it may have its own fuse that will be connected most likely in-line with the red power wire coming out of the back of it.
And if that's the case it may even be useing two fuses, depending on who ever installed it...(the inline one and also one in the fuse panel.)

Did you use a test light or an ohm meter when you checked the fuses? Sometimes it's tough to tell if their blown if you are just looking at it.

And make sure the light doesn't just have a blown bulb or a sticking door switch...It's sometimes easy to overlook the simple things.

Good Luck.
