So after scouring the boards for 5-speed manual shift knob removal instructions, I have only found "pop the cap off the stock knob, and find a nut which can be removed", and "pull hard" as the only options.

Unfortunately, neither seem to apply to my YJ.

I'd really appreciate a hand-up.
