Default "Jeep Fold" helping more than the government in CO Floods

My favorite part about Jeeps is the people that drive them.

Suppose to read "Jeep Folks" typing too fast. LOL

Maybe jeepers should be in charge of future relief efforts!

I know there are alot of people in need in CO and some are having a hard time of it. But am I the only Jeeper who wants to go there just to try out all the new terrain. I would be more than happy to help make deliveries. It sounds like the only open roads are the trails through the mountains, around the paved roads that use to be there.

Maybe this is why the Constitution doesn't mention the guberment taking care of everyone from cradle to grave. Much better handled by Real People in the area or Region, Churches and charities, Think about it. Americans doing for themselves doesn't happen much any more. A SHAME too!

Agreed- good read. I have always been fascinated by severe weather, and now that I've gotten familiar with my jeep, I've become a volunteer CERT member, and signed up for my amateur radio license class. I am going to further my knowledge with advanced search and rescue and looking to throw emergency lights on my jeep. I know the odds of my using my jeep for actual CERT assignments are slim to none.. But for helping people on my own, as a first responder. .. Not wishing bad upon anyone, but I will be ready to lend a hand if it's within my realm of knowledge to do so safely. Great job Colorado Jeepers
