Older Jeepers
Just turned 49, furst jeep was an 87 YJ back in automn 86. Second YJ came in 90. This YJ was my first modified rig. Then came a 96 XJ, and soonafter 99 TJ. In 2006, I bought a Land Rover Discovery series 2, then a Volvo XC90.
In 2013, being older, wiser, richer and spoiled in comfort, I decided to go back to jeeps, and get the best of the best, and ended-up with my fully loaded jeep jku rubicon 10A. Took.a while to get used to the harsh ride compared to the Land Rover and Volvo, but ain't looking back
I wish guys would post pics of their jeeps, to show that the older and wiser you get, the smaller are the lift and tires. I am confident that their are very few overlifted and built jeeps in our age range.

About to turn 61. How the hell did this happen. Seems not long ago I was 30 lol. Started jeeping in 91 had a Sahara. Got a 2009 jk next. Now I have a 2014 Sahara. 3 inch lift 35 tires. Not into heavy off-roading any more. Tore up plenty of rigs in my younger days. Just always have had a truck or jeep. Also have a 2011 raptor.

I am 55 and getting ready to retire real soon. Wanted a Jeep for many years but having 2 young ones to raise up took first priority. Even test drove some but didn't pull the trigger because they were not really a family vehicle. Don't really regret it because we raised two people that have turned out to be pretty good people. When the youngest was in her senior year of college the wife said to me "you have wanted that Jeep for all of our married life and never got to get one. Trade in my car and get the Jeep you want." Bought a 2005 TJ and loved that machine. Traded that in for our 2013 JK. We use it as our fun vehicle and man do we have a lot of fun with it. We have a blast just taking the doors and top off and going for a fun trip. The wife and I are going to celebrate our 32 anniversary this month and I am thankful for every day with her. Younger guys.....be patient. If you work hard, set your priorities right, and do the right things in life you will be rewarded. When you get the toys you want they will be much more appreciated by you and you will get to share them with people that will appreciate you.
Just turned 50. First jeep was a CJ7 I built from the ground up when I was 30. Was pushing over 350 hp with it. Second jeep was a 98 Cherokee, great family 4x4 vehicle. Last year I bought a 2014 JK. Fun vehicle and happy to have but when it is all said and done I really do miss that first Jeep.
I am 65, retired educator. Have had jeeps since 1982. 2 Cherokees and am on my 5th Wrangler, 2014 Rubicon. Obviously, love the product. We live in Eugene, Or. so lots of beach and dune driving along with some snow trials in the winter.
50 here, been into Jeeps ever since I was a little kid. My folks bought a CJ-5 way back in the 60's. We've had CJ-5's off and on since then. The wife and I bought a new Unlimited in 2010.
When we were kids, my sister and I used to ride on the wheel wells. We used to take some pretty long trips bouncing around on that hard steel. Plenty of winter trips from Southern California to Colorado. Pretty sure someone would go to prison these days.

I've liked Jeeps all my like. Been 4 Wheelin around 30 years. Bought my 08 JKU in 2010 with 17K on it and absolutely love her. The wife and I have a blast wheeling and meeting/making new friends. Turn 50 in June of 15. Don't feel it except as some have eluded too, my body tell's me otherwise.
Although I am not in the age range provided in the first post, I will post on behalf of my father, who is 74 years old. He's had 4 wranglers to date, with one of them being sent out to europe about 5 years ago. H's had 2 YJ's, 2 TJ's, (one of the TJ's, 99 Sahara, in Poland). He still loves the Wranglers and now I got a JK to follow the dark, money pit, but loads of fun, route of the Wrangler lifestyle.
