If you already have a 50" bar, at what distance and width do you need more light? It would be best to address your specific lighting needs.

Are you needing wide and close coverage outside of the 50" bar's spread? Maybe a diffused flood style.

Are you needing additional long range coverage for higher speeds? Maybe a hyper spot style or pencil type spot beam.

Or perhaps just more mid-distance coverage? Maybe a driving or standard flood style.

Howdie,

Floods tend to light up your hood more than give you visibility. Adjustable pencil beams work great off-roading at night, I adjust mine to light up the sides of trails at around 50 meters.

Another consideration for pillar lights in combination with big JK mirrors is that they remove a bit of visibility when cornering, so the smaller the better.

Cheers

Most use pencil beams, myself included.
