Great - thank you for posting that vid.

What happens is the headlights come on and you hear the starter kick in. Then once it starts, the parking lights come on. I'll try and post a video.

Default Video

Here's the video. The only thing I did was push the remote start button on the included remote for 3 seconds.

It mimics pushing the lock button twice, thus the horns. After it starts, it locks the doors and the horn sounds. Pushing the remote again shuts it off with no sounds.

Well I just received everything yesterday, can't wait to get it to work. It seems easier on the YouTube videos then the instructions. Fortin has three "Livewire" system where you can download indepth instructions. I swear I have to work at NASA to understand it. Looking at the video it's like 1-2-3! I am debating the whole parking lights install. I do t think I mind not having a lit vehicle when started. Thanks everyone for your help!

The Livewire system has some good info on the wire colors for the perking lights. It's nice knowing that the Jeep is actually running.

I have the Viper Smart Start with the 1 mile range and feed back. I also had the smart phone module installed and LOVE IT. Really cheap fee for the Smart phone use. I think I paid like $149.00 for a 3 year subscription
