I have a new Sony HDR-CX150 hanycam camera that I got for Xmas, I made a custom dash mount for it. The camera is only a month old and was used one time to a off road park. Comes with all the cables, charger, battery, dash mount. The dash mount is made from the cover that goes over the radio on the top part of the dash, I then made a custom bolt mount just like you'd find on a tripod.

I don't know much about the radio cover or the dash, I have the mygig touch screen radio, how does that cover clip on that? If it'll work for me, I'm interested

 

It will fit...your mygig is the same as a radio. I have a pioneer touchscreen installed and works fine. Just above your radio/mygig is a plastic dash piece and it just pops off and this pop in its place. Is perfect for off roading plus you can remove it a film whatever you want outside of your jeep.
