His listing says they might require an adapter.

I know, if you look at the picture that he provided, the pigtail that is in the pic... is not the one that is on the light. There are three separate wire leads the same as the 24 volt lights and the military lights.
If it wasn't for that picture showing the plug, I would have asked specifically about it.

So, the point is. Either that picture isn't of these lights or he intentionally put a pigtail under the light to make it look like something it isn't!
Either way, it was misleading!

Open a PayPal dispute- product received not as described. That's quite a nice pile of cash on a misleading ad.

Has the OP done anything to help out??

On my other forum you have to have your screen name and date in the picture with the goods you're selling or the mods delete it. It should be that way here as well.

I've wired up my own connections for the lights. They are usable. Just a bit frustrated that they are not what was described and pictured in this add... I wasn't expecting the need to create my own wiring for them. I even bought the connectors that would go with what was in the pic... $5 at autozone... Figured I'd cut off the jeep side connector and just splice in the new ones... then these lights would be plug and play... Of course I bought the connector that was in the picture?
And no, The communication from this guy has been very very lacking! Nothing in response to this thread since his "sale Pending" post... and nothing since from the pm I sent him...

I am going to take the blame here... I should know not to be trusting on here with people selling things... Only deal locally that way the deal is finalized face to face...

Almost forgot... Turns out he got these on EBay... And, they are not new as he implied... I figure he got them on EBay, saw the connectors and said well shit... I guess I'll unload these on the forum!

Hey don't let one pos or bad experience keep you from buying great deals on here. I've had one bad experience on the forum as well when a guy sold me a soft top canvas that he stated was only dirty but had no rips or tears. Got it in and it had 3 tears in it. Didn't do anything for me. I have since had many other awesome deals on here and none were local. Protect yourself by keeping all communication and always paying for goods and services through PayPal. That way it can be disputed and have a very good chance of getting money back.

I stated in the add that you needed to buy an adapter. And I was not wrong on the price of the adaptor. The lights were brand new and never used. You did offer me a lower price on the lights than I posted and I agreed. I have the same lights and they work amazing. Other than the pic not being exactly accurate I hope you enjoy the lights

Lol, you don't think the picture should be accurate? Rules need to be changed around here. Pictures should include screen name and jk forum as well.

Those style lights in the 24volt ratings are for military HMMWV which runs on a 24 volt system, the 12V version are used on military LMTV's which is a 12volt system, Truck-lite first versions of these came with an adapter that plugs into those to adapt to different vehicle bulb types. Same lights just missing the vehicle specific adapter. Sometimes sellers are ignorant to what they have, sometimes great for a buyer and sometimes a buyers worst nightmare..its a crap shoot.
