*SOLD* Smittybilt SRC Front Grille Guard Bumper
SOLD.
I am tired of waiting for this bumper. I am number six on the list from 4WD for the first run of these bumpers. I ordered, and paid for, it before the price increased. 4Wheel parts has it listed at $450, and 4WD has it listed at $419.99. Shipping to 23185 is listed as 43.94 (as of today), for a total of $464, or $422 if you buy it with one of their 10% off deals. Plus you still have to wait for their second run (at least) of 50.
I would like to get $400 for this bumper. I prefer either local (<100mi) delivery or pickup only. Virginia folks, this means you. I do not want to ship, but I will consider it if necessary (you pay shipping). This is at least $22 cheaper and a guaranteed slot in the initial run. Although, there is no guarantee when that will be. 4WD today said 45-60 days. If you like, please call and check for yourself. I would like a $50 deposit now and the rest upon my receipt of the bumper (or when you pick it up or I deliver it). The part number is 76722. I will try to post a picture in a few minutes.
Questions, Comments, or Insults? Hurl'em at me.

Interestingly enough I had talked to them (Smittybilt) yesterday before I read the post up about being tired of waiting. I had them e-mail pictures of the different JK options. The guy on the phone warned me that they were still another 45 days out on production......FYI. He did e-mail the pictures to me. I may end up going with Kilby instead.

I just called Smittybilt today. They got the Welding Jig issue resolved, and expect to ship this first batch in 2-3 weeks. Middle September. Also, I found out they are now made in San Diego.

if 4wd actually sells them at their current advertised price, i'm sure someone will jump on this soon. in the latest offroad adventures mag, they've already upped the price on all the JK bumpers. so maybe there's an introductory price period and then they're switching to the higher price.
