warn 8274 8000lb winch SOLD
1/4in thick bumper $SOLD

I got some ideas on another bumper I wanna try..and this one will just gather dust..

Does the winch work? What year is it? Does it have a serial number?

The 8274 was one of the best Warn winches made. You can rebuild them for almost nothing.

That thing looks intense. If I recall, someone on another Jeep forum found one in a barn and thought it was shot but with a little elbow grease it fired right up and worked fine.

Can you describe the winch mounting? it looks like you've welded the winch plate near the bottom of the bumper. I'm wondering if there's clearance on the ends for a "flat" winch, rather than the stacked 8274 (excellent item); how wide is the winch cut-out?

the 8274 bolts to the front edge..no lower plate on that..plenty of room for a standard design winch...(open from frame rail to frame rail..)..opening is something like 14in..
