Advice on mounting a 2m/440 antenna with a Terraflex mount
Hi folks
I'm getting ready to install a 2m antenna on the jeep. Since I already have the CB antenna mounted in the license plate, I went with a Terraflex mount for the tailgate.
So, here's my question:
Do I need to get the mount drilled to accept a PL type of connection? Or will a typical cable assembly fit through the hole? I already have the antenna which is a Comet SBB-5 so I can't really go with a stud mount. If I need to get it drilled, would it be 5/8"?
Thanks in advance

I use a Comet RS730 mount for my 2m/70cm antenna and it works great, ran the wire under everything and zip tied it to the brake light loom. Can't even tell it's there other than when the glass is open I have to tilt it just a little bit to keep it from rubbing the glass when I shut the gate. this is the specific one I bought.
