Default Another Yaesu FTM-350AR Install

Here are pictures of my installation of a Yaesu FTM-350AR into my 2011 JKU. Seems the FTM-350 is an ideal radio for the JK with limited room for radio installs. I initially had planned to install a dual band rig, a 220 rig, a scanner and eventually a CB. The '350 takes place of the first three radios in one. I'll get to the CB install eventually.

I was disappointed with the Arizona Rocky Road (ARR) company. Very responsive up front before the sale, no response whatsoever when I had questions after the sale. If you buy one of these products, be really sure it'll fit (or you can make it fit) on your JK.

Anyway, pardon the link instead of direct pictures - but here they are:

I've been looking at this antenna mount to use for 11 meters, what kind of problem did you have making it fit on your JK? And what did you have to do to make it fit?

The antenna mounts fit okay (the radio mount did not without some tweaks).

However, the areas around the holes for the bolts and antenna must have the paint removed so that a decent ground can be made to the vehicle.

Otherwise, no problem with the fit.
