Antenna Hood Channel Mounts (Ham Radio)
Or do you guys think that the double Arizona Rocky antenna mount will be just fine? I have seen a few jeeps with the tall antennas on these mounts and they look like they work just fine. What do you guys think?

Clarify no problems, until I had the common mode problem fixed and bonding done I had lots of ingress problems.

Let me know if you can't get into that gallery.
The radio body is under the passenger seat.
VHF/UHF Coax: Under the passenger seat there is a wiring run. The coax joins that and goes out toward the door...joins the main run and goes to the rear...around the passenger seat belt assembly...up into the tub over the fender...to the right rear corner...through the rubber grommet into the taillight area...out the bottom through the foam...up through a hole I drilled in the bumper...to the lip mount on the tailgate.
HF: Under the passenger seat toward the center...under the center console...under the drivers seat to the wiring harness under the door...to the rear...up over the fender...out the rubber grommet into the driver side taillight area...out of the Euro license Plate Hole Cover...to the antenna. I relocated my license plate to the bumper/tire carrier. I got a one of the Euro Covers and drilled the center. The hole is big enough for a 3/4" grounding braid, RG-58 coax and 4 conductor motor control leads.
If you want more detailed pics let me know. I can always upload more.

One idea to consider for the 3/8X24 mount is something from Breedlove Mounts.

Iv seen pics of one he made that is mounted next to the drivers side tail light.
Hope this helps some.

I was considering going with a breedlove made mount and it wouldn't work for my situation. I contacted him explaining what I wanted (basically a mount for my ATAS 120) and he said he had nothing that would work for it. It looks like his are all for CB or Hamstick antennas.
I have the Arizona Rocky Road antenna mounts. One has my APRS antenna on it and the other has my CB antenna on it. To the right of that I have a trunk lip mount with my ATAS 120 on it. The only interference I get is when I am talking on one of the local repeaters and my APRS transmits a packet. It will cut out .5 second of someones conversation.

These Pictures are great gentlemen, it is giving me great ideas. On Monday I will be ordering my Arizona Rocky Road Mount drilled for a UHF antenna and my 10 meter hamstick. keep the pics coming the more ideas I get the better off I think I will be.
