Default Any CB speakers with on/off switch and/or volume control?

For security/space reasons, I have my Cobra 29 LTD BT located under the driver's seat. I want to run a separate external speaker directly in front of the dome light but am looking for one with volume control or on/off switch. I've been searching for CB speakers but the uniden and cobra models don't look like they have that type of control, plus they are rather large for the application I'm thinking of

If I can't find a good speaker, I will just run the audio line from the CB to my X-mini. The X-mini has both volume control and on/off, but it needs to be recharged every few hours. However, I'd end up keeping the x-mini's USB plugged in or tapped into an accessory fuse.

Any thoughts/recommendations?

Thanks!

You might be able to use a headphone cable that has a volume control inline which you could mount somewhere convenient. This would open up your speaker choices.

I dont have a picture handy, but my speaker is mounted inside the rollbar pad, directly to the left and behind the drivers head. If you unzip the rollbar cover, you can cut out the foam to the exact size of whatever speaker you use, place the speaker in, and re-zip the cover. Completely hidden, and easy to hear since its next to your head.
