I got my cobra 75 and ultramount kit from CoolTech today only to discover upon openning the box that the antenna was broken in half, folded over and slid into the box. The box wasn't long enough to contain the whole antenna had it been in one piece, so I'm wondering if it was sticking out the end of the box and some fedex employee just broke it in half and stuck it back inside. Anyone else have a problem with the way their stuff shipped?

 

Id say to contact Cool Tec and let them know the condition of the package when you received it.
Ask them for advice.

 

Cooltech is sending me a new antenna. Apparently a fedex employee broke it and put it back in the box.

 

Cooltechs been good to me. Especially when I tried to canabalize thier kit to work with my tire carrier.

Now, my antenna on the other hand. It's not car wash approved as I found out yesterday.

 

Bummer for the antenna but glad you got a good response from their customer service!
