Exclamation Is California moving to BAN Ham Radio?

Interesting, if not scary, article. Seems the Progressive machine just never quits.

California is Totalitarian Socialist Regime, totally out of control.

The sad part is, people leave Liberal states, move to another and vote for the same ideology they are running away in the first place. Kind of like Locusts, seeking greener pastures...

For some reason Adam Schiff reminds me of this dude...

No, ham radio isn't going away. The issue(s) in California are somewhat overblown, and there's no "final" decision by CalFire about the removal of ham repeaters from State facilities.

Think people need to take a course in reason...or start wearing tin hats.

Radio is regulated FEDERALLY by the FCC, Sacramento lacks jurisdiction. Ham radio usage in the public safety realm is obsolete. First responders have much better radios, with digital reapeaters, with a higher level of security. It's easier for CalFire (or insert the name of any other agency here too) to run its own repeaters and their own network (sometimes secure) than to work with a bunch of hobbyists in an emergency.

I suspect the article actually reflects on some of the more well-known and dire intentions, such as the Liberals' pyschotic push to control AM radio. HAM is not necessarily a resource for first responders, but rather for the citizenry to freely communicate amongst each other without the interference of government control. Some may wish to ridicule the notion with a "tin hat" theory, but I"m not the one living next door to California or knibbling on ice cream in Bernie's Vermont. And incidentally, illegal narcotics and unlawful immigration are federally regulated as well, but we all know how that is playing out in locations where its population have been reduced down to Complete Idiots. Good luck with that, and deal with it when its at your doorstep. I'm sure it will be fine when the government is your sole resource of information and all is most assuredly well.
