Default CB antenna on front bumper?

Hey guys, I'm looking for opinions. I have Warn Rock Crawler front bumper with pre-drilled holes on the top-ends of the bumper for additional lights. I don't plan on adding an more lights. Do you think this may be a good place for an antenna install? I'd like to hear the pros and cons. Thanks.

It is way easy to put it on the spare tire. I like mine back there to ensure it is out of the way.

It has and can be done...many people think it looks bad! I am one of those people. It is your Jeep so make it yours. Taking the cable to the back is not that hard with the sports bar covers and the pull away carpet. I mounted mine on the tailgate brakelight. I used a 4' Wilson flexible and it worked great. Trees just bent it back and it was fine. Worked well for me. I don't know if I have any pics of it mounted.
I couldn't find any pics up close but it's just an L bracket drilled out for the antenna mount. This is my old Jeep. I now own the Unlimited and haven't put my CB in yet.

Personally I don't like the look. But that is just me.

It seems like it would get in the way. For maintenance chores, yes, you could remove it but the mount would be something to avoid steppin gon ro snagging your clothes on. It would also be a problem to work around just checking fluids. On the trail if you need to get to the winch or tow hooks it would be an obstacle.

And I have to agree with the earlier post. I wouldn't want to watch it wagging right in front of me everytime I drove.

If you like it, go for it.

Thanks for the replies, but the O'lady just informed me that I would be aggravated by the antenna being in my face all the time. I told her that I was planning on using her side. The look from her told me that the antenna goes somewhere in the back.
