Default CB antenna mount help please

I have a question for you. I need to get a CB set up in my JK for a newbie run this weekend. Got everything I need, but need to know the best place to mount the antenna and how to go about it. Have done a search through a lot of the threads and found many mounted on the spare tire carrier...and it has some sort of bracket on it and is metal...it might be a Teraflex bracket/carrier. Anyway, the spare tired bracket/tire mount/brake light on my JK appears to be a very hard plastic and not metal...

So can I mount it on the license plate frame/box or on the stock plastic bumper and then run a ground to the frame? I have an antenna stud to mount it.

Any input and/or pics of your mounts would be appreciated. Thanks so much for helping a newbie

Ryan; How did you attach to the tire carrier? Did you remove the CHMSL shroud? After seeing your pic I looked at my tire carrier and there is a small ledge on each side. Do you think that can support a Firestik?

AK4Dave; How close can two antennas be? I am planning to put on a Firestik in the next day or two. Once I have my license I will need to install a dual band antenna. If I were to drill each ledge on the tire carrier would the antennas interfere with each other?
