Does anyone have their CB mounted on their headliner with a tuffy style unit and have an sPod?

I am wanting to mount a cb up top but I'm not sure what will work with the sPod.

 

Anybody know? If I can find something, illness selling my 75 and going with something with a swr meter built in

 

I'm pretty sure it would fit if you mount it like Eddie did in the write up on Project-JK. It would be close to the mirror but it looks like it would fit. Or you could maybe try and mount the sPod to the bottom of the CB and then mount the CB on the hook for the hardtop (if you don't have a hard top). If any of that makes sense. lol

 

I called az rocky road about the same thing. I was told that his mound will work with the spod.
