As anyone ever tried to mount their CB in one of the existing holes on the soundbar?

 

I had one mounted on the roll bars of my YJ and TJ. Haven't gotten around to getting a CB for the JK yet. Most likely, I will mount it on the roll bar for this one as well.

 

I would think mounting on the sound bar make it hard to
change the channel or adjust volume?
MAybe I'm wrong.

 

Yeah i totally agree... I just want to find a spot where I could take it out easily when I need too... And I don't want to have to drill into any of the trimmings!

 

IV got an 09 and mine is mounted on the drivers side of the counsel.
Fits great and isnt in the way.
Thinking about moving the location to a Arizona Rocky Road bar I have.

I have an 11... I wish that bolt was there in the new interior... I saw a thread on here where someone had fabricated a mount that attached to one of those roof tiedowns at the top of the windshield. (https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-c...lation-152104/) right now that's my favorite option. I just want a spot where I could remove the CB easily
