I want to get a CB for when i go offroad. It seems alot easier cause most of the guys i go out with have them. Now, ive read a few threads in here and saw a few installs. I would really like to put it in my center console. What CB will fit in there and do what i need?

Cobra 75, comes with quick disconnect so you dont have to leave the cb in jeep, one less thing to worry about getting stolen, it doesnt take up all the room in your console either

Midland and Uniden both make pretty compact models that should fit just nicely. I used to have a Realistic (Radio Shack) brand one that was about the size of a paperback book.

Like others have said you'll need an external speaker. The Cobra 75 is probably the most popular CB on JK forum because of it's size, but you'll have to pay for that as it's one of the more expensive CB's on the market.

X2 on the Cobra 75.
You can get a package deal with everything HERE. Thats what I did. They do cost a little more, but the small size and ability to disconnect and take it out of the jeep is great.
