CB Stopped working, suggestions?
Ok so I was driving down the interstate, turned my CB on, it works for abotu 10 seconds then BAM! ... it just turned off no lights no nothing
Well I thought it was the fuse so I went bought a pack of 5 ...replaced it, still nothing
Well I figured it wouldnt hurt nothing to make a new connector for the battery end of the cb cords(the red one)
well nothing... I made sure all the grounds where still good and it appears the power wires are good to
any suggestions?

Its a midland.... just like the one in the writeup
Ill recheck my grounds tommorrow but I am pretty sure they should be good to go, everything looks good and connected like it was when it was working

1. Many units have a fuse inline or on the body of the unit. Check that.
2. Check to see if the unit is getting power with either a multimeter or test light. A test light can be made with any 12 light and a couple of wires.
3. If the unit is getting power and the fuse (if there is one) is good then the unit went kaput.
