Cobra 75 and 2011 JK's
I'm looking at getting the CoolTech JK CB All-In-One Kit,
http://www.cooltechllc.com/jeep/jk_C...nOne_kit.shtml
But it looks like it only will fit on the 2007 to 2010 JK's…Here is a pic, it looks like the bracket won't fit on the new dash. Has anyone come up with something that WILL work with the 2011 dash?

I was going to buy this kit.. but I think that antenna bracket is way over-priced and if you package the rest of the stuff on Amazon (or the like) it can be had for a chunk less....
I'm just sayin....

Your right about that kit not being for the 2011. It is actually the bracket for the handheld to hook into that won't fit the 2011. I am leaving on a road trip soon and ended up ordering this kit.
The larger bracket sits above your instrument panel and the smaller actually mounts up high as you can see in the below picture.
Also, I don't want my antenna mounted on my license plate (which is how this kit mounts it), so I ordered the Teraflex mount for behind the spare tire.
I am supposed to have all of this on wednesday and will hopefully have time to install everything on friday. We will see how it turns out.
grant6923 I just realized that maybe I shouldn't have put this in here. I wasn't trying to hijack your thread. I was really looking at the 75, but, wasn't able to find it for the 2011 and don't have the time to wait before I leave on the trip. Good luck.

i've got the same problem. I have the cobra 75. right now i'm using a Gear Keeper mic mount, which is a little box with a retractable chord in it. the chord hooks to the mic, and the little box has a clasp on it that you can hook to the footmans loop for the hard top locks or the sun visor. it works, but my wife hates it as i hook it to her visor. plus, when wheeling, it swings around alot and is quite annoying. it works for now, but I have to do something different.

I'm with him, quadratec + amazon did the trick for me, saved about 20-30 bucks which is not huge but it's always that.

Cobra 75 in my 2011
I mounted mine in the console. Bought a Gearkeeper retractable lanyard for a CB mic and attached the mounting d-ring to my sound bar in the center near the front. The mic cord fits through the gap in the console on either side. The mic hangs about a foot to the right of and slightly behind my right ear. It can be easily grabbed and used because of the retractable lanyard. When not in use I detach the retractable lanyard with its clip from the d-ring and put it and the mic in the console with the CB. Everything but the small d-ring is out of sight.
For power I bought an accessory adaptor from Radioshack that has its own fuse and on/off switch built in. Connected that to the power wire on the CB and plugged that into the accessory power plug-in inside the console. I liked the idea of being able to cut off the power at the accessory plug-in when the cb wasn't being used without having to pull the adaptor out.
