Default Cobra 75 Install--Simple Question

What size drill bit is used for the hole for the flush mount plug/recepticle. (I don't know of a better way to describe it.) It is where you plug-in the mike. It has the little face plate with the grommet.

I'd like to know so I don't ruin the plastic lower dash panel by drilling the wrong size.

Thanks!

Lol - well fortunately the face plate covers up most of your mistakes. I could never find a perfect drill bit, so I just used a dremel and kept going till it fit. So my hole is pretty rough on the inside, but it looks fine with the plate installed.

The good thing is if you really mess up, the entire piece of plastic costs maybe $10 to replace. It's just a dash trim piece you can order at any dealer.

I've been staring at this thing for 15 minutes, and I'm now laughing because you are right! I get the dumb question of the day award!

Thanks for the help! I'm excited to finally have this thing set up correctly, including Bullfrog's mic mount, which works and looks great!

Thanks!

Thanks again for the advice. I've got it put together and hooked up. It looks great!

Thank God for Dremmel tools!
