Cobra 75-WX-ST and Cooltech license plate antenna mount installed on 2011 JK
I picked up the gear keeper at Loves truck stop but you can get them online as well, you want the large one if you get one, they cost about $25.00, it works excellent.. I couldn't be happier with the function, it also has a sliding lock for when you aren't using the CB so its not always kept up by the reel tension.
As for running the cable for my antenna, the first part of the routing is just like the instructions say, you follow the factory tail light harness up through the rear of the tub, I then ran all the cable down the drivers side under the tub rail and tucked it under the left scuff plate up to the left kick panel, then up to the dash, once at the dash I simply ran it across to the passenger side to the receiver box, they left plenty of cable and places to hide it along the way.
As for power, I tapped into the power of the "key on" accessory outlet on the right side of the dash, I did have to pull the dash slightly apart in the center to gain access to the back of the outlet but once there it was simple, I used two blue quick taps and made the connection without cutting any wiring and got a solid long term connection.
