Good to hear someone is running this with a Ham ant. I also need to mount a 2m/70cm multiband ant. Looking to get the Diamond NR770HBNMO I just have two concerns.

1) With that ant. work with the mount and the coax cable that comes with it or do I need a non NMO ant?
2) I don't have a CB so don't really want to pay for a CB ant as part of the set up. Looks like I can do just the gate bracket and no kit but still worry about getting an HAM ant. that will fit the hole.
