Dash or overhead mounted CB
is this everything I would need? like I mentioned before I plan to use the mount on the tramp stamp that I already have for the antenna

I like it a lot. I work out of my Jeep, so I use it for my pens and glasses as well as the CB. I also added some small LED pods for dome lights because the stock dome lights are just in the wrong places and I sometimes have to read/write before dawn. I only have 2 issues with the console - it doesn't play well with the Freedom Panels of the hardtop (but I made it work) and the Molle straps only allow for mounting the bags in one direction. I have mine mounted with this overhead bracket from Rugged Ridge. I have a full size cobra 29 mounted on it with no problem.

You could mount it overhead with cheap fasteners from home depot. Do a search and you'll find lots. I had mine like that in my last jeep. This jeep I used this Strike Force Zebra Covert CB / GPS / Radar Detector Mount And I mounted my antenna above my fender with a bracket from firestick
