is this everything I would need? like I mentioned before I plan to use the mount on the tramp stamp that I already have for the antenna

hey I just bought that bracket did you have to drill at all? apparently from a certain year and up you don't have to but below for my 09 jk I have to drill. I have auniden bearcat 990 going in the mount

You could mount it overhead with cheap fasteners from home depot. Do a search and you'll find lots. I had mine like that in my last jeep. This jeep I used this Strike Force Zebra Covert CB / GPS / Radar Detector Mount And I mounted my antenna above my fender with a bracket from firestick
