Thanks for all the tips, I'll be looking into one in the coming months as I have other things I would like to get before a CB setup. Going to try and find a decent small sized one that can be mounted in a few locations so I have some options.

took me a couple months to get my cb, but i love it. my dad and i both put cb's in our jk's at the same time to replace walkie talkies we use when we wheel together. THe quality of the audio is uncomparable to the walkie talkie. and it was super easy to install using the walkthrough from project-jk.com. For 100$ out the door it was a pretty cheap mod. And shooting the *poop with truckers is always fun.

I was wasited and my dad had three old cb's in the garage. At 3 am my friend and I drilled the rear gate installed a cobra 25. I LOVE IT! use it on the trail and occasionally on the highway.

Hey dude

On the trail with a group it is INVALUABLE and worth it for that alone. Having said that, if you have a couple buddies who have em as well they are a blast when doing a road trip

Thanks in advance for your answers!
