I understand what a balun is thank you. Used several of them in the audio/video industry. Just haven't seen the one you have and there was no info in the link you provided so I just asked a question.

It wasn't meant to be a guide to baluns, per se. Just pics of this particular one. It's the first time I've used one as my other antennas don't require one. It probably would have helped if you'd seen my previous post on the antenna?

These posts are more about mounting the equipment in a JK rather than their usage.
