HAM OP Roll Call......
I studied for over a month using mostly HAM TEST ONLINE, paid subscription and at the end, used flash cards borrowed from our radio club. I didn't take very many practice tests, hamtestonline recommends not to do that, so since they have helped me pass my tech and general, I went by what they said. Anyway I did pass the test March 24, 2012 for my Extra Class license. So happy that is done and done!!
I already have my vanity call so will not change that.

Extra Class
I don't believe I've posted here yet, so....
KK5VG down here in Magnolia, Texas. Been a ham for almost 20 years. Been an Extra class most of that time. Can't say that I've been active most of that time, though. I just installed an Icom IC-7000 in my JK. Running a ham stick off of the rear bumper and a dual band 2m/440 antenna off of a driver's side windshield light mount.

Just got my ticket last week. KF5PIF. I have a Kenwood 710a and a avmap 6. Lots of fun. I'm in the process of making bumpers so, made a cool antenna mount.
