I was born and raised in Simi (Harold ave, close to Sycamore & Royal), then lived for 7 years in Ventura, up on the hill on N Ann st. Now I'm in Texas.
I love Ventura, miss it sometimes (only in the summers and winters though)

W0FG, Rick in Iowa. Licensed since '63, Extra, mostly a CW DX chaser. 'Have a TM-D700 from my prior ride but haven't figured out how I want to mount it in the new JK yet.

I got my license last year and really enjoy it. Being active with two clubs that do a lot of community involvement is fun for me.

New mamber-old ham. N4SZS-Technician (with morse) active since the 80's. long time jeep driver, this latest will be my 8th. Considering an upgrade to general for HF privilages... not much amateur avtivity here locally in charleston on the FM bands.
