Only use mine on trail rides with others, so about 24 times a year or so............

Makes the trail rides safer and easier.

Knock on wood my quick disco has not let me down...and I've been through some thick overland trails...miles and miles worth with the antenna getting abused. Must be lucky!!!

I use mine on the trails every time we go. I've enjoyed it driving cross country but you probably don't want to have it on 19/ trucker ch due to the language and some content. It came in handy during a bad storm since there were quite a bit of chatter on conditions. I use mine way more than I thought.

I turn on mine every time I get in my Jeep. Former trucker here so I still BS with truckers. I am the only one in my hometown that has one that I have seen. But I have it on at all times wheelin' and kinda like an American Express card....never leave home without it!

I only use it when I'm on the trail. I used the Cobra 75 so I can easily remove the mic for storage. I also used quick disconnects in the rear, again for easy removal. Works like a charm.
