10 meter band is reserved for amature radio operators (HAMS). The 11 meter band is used by CB's. 10m radios are not supposed to be able to transmit on 11m bands due to the ammount of power a HAM radio pushes out and other technical considerations.

Skippman, so the HAM radio is the ones that when those guys talk, it basically drowns out ever other CB on the moutain? haha...

Those are pretty powerful.

I got the Cobra 75 and I am trying to figure out where to put the handset mount. Where have people put their's?

Where did the double DIN stereo mount come from? I like that CB there below the CD Player... I did a similar thing in an XC90 once...

I ordered the Double DIN kit from Crutchfield when I ordered the new head unit. The company provides the dash trim kit free with a new head unit but I had to call and place the order since the website defaults to the single DIN kit.

It turned out just like I wanted.
