You don't need to buy that fancy bracket. Just use the mounting bracket that comes with the CB and attach to the same bolt they show in the picture. I had a 520 mounted like that for a couple years. Worked great...yeah I am a cheap SOB

Good job - I might need to move mine. Currently hits my left knee, but I'm too lazy to try to extend the antenna cable.

How is the audio output with the leaker up against the center console, when installed on the passenger side?
