The picasa site apparently prevents image hotlinking. Right click on the image ( or where the image should be), copy the url shown for the image, then paste it straight into the address bar of your browser. Then you'll see it.

PG-JKU: Thanks for the fix. I posted this from work. Most posts I look at from this network show the red X. I figured it was there but only I couldn't see it.

AK4DAVE: Here is a link to the entire album. picasaweb.google.com/cmviii/Scorpion# Last week Donnie asked to see some pics of my ongoing install, particularly the radio body under the seat. I have everything installed but I am waiting for the antenna analyzer before I can key up.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't heard of the Scorpion. Just checked eham........5/5 on the reviews. Looks like a good one. Hope it works well for you....

That's a big reason I chose it. I rarely get something with intent to upgrade, grow beyond, or get rid of it. My plan is for this to be the first, last and only HF mobile antenna. That, and K0BG.com.

Yeah.....K0BG will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about mobile applications.... I'd love to have a screwdriver, but I just can't get past how big and bulky they are. A fellow ham friend of mine, also an engineer, actually built one. He doesn't use it and I've been trying to get it from him for years. Reason being.....his design has a very sleek and slender profile. I may end up with it someday yet.....
