lip mount for dual band antenna?
Anyone using a lip mount on the hood of their JK? I am looking for the right mount for a dual band 144/440 antenna. NMO style.

Iv got a Diamond K 412 mounted on teh drivers side of mine with a Larson 2/70 NMO antenna
connected to a Yaesu HT.
So far, it seems to work fairly well.
There is a pic in my gallery of the antenna.
Is that similar to what your looking for?

I have a lip mount I ran to the rear hatch. I like the lip because now that I have an after market tire swing with dual gas can racks, it can slip on the highest spot and for trail use I throw on a diamond stubby dual band. Works great
