Ok, I've got my first jk and the first thing I bought was a cb and antenna set up. (Only mod I can afford for a little while after buying the jk) my issue is that I have no idea how I hook the coax cable to the antenna. I have the firestik II 5/8 wave antenna with a firestik spring and firestik heavy duty stud mount. I know this is a very noob question but I really have no idea. Pictures would be very much appreciated.

It screws into the bottom of the antenna. You might need the mounting adapter that looks like a oversized coax cable end.

Thanks for your response. I knew it was something simple. I ordered the wrong mount.

You can pick the mounts up at Radio Shack or at truck stops

Ok, new question. For those of you who have used the spare tire mount, how/where did you run the cable? Again. Pics would be nice. Also, I will post some after my install on Sunday.

Just run the cable under the padding on the passenger side roll bar. If the top is off its easy if you have a hardtop just try a coat hanger. If you want pic just do a search in the forum for cb installs and you will figure it out.
