I like the install above the mirror like the last two...did the CB's come with the brackets to mount them that way is it something you have to get seperately?

I just bolted together some old CD-shuttle mounting brackets and it seems to work. That is why it looks so crude. ;-)

I did not get any of these type brackets with the radio.

here is mine...nothing fancy. I have a Stryker 440 in my Mack and had it peaked & tuned and that puppy has about a 18 mile range. I saw no need for a big radio in my JK......I want to forget about work lol

I got the cobra at a Pilot for $40.00 and used mount that came with it.

Here is my no-drill overhead CB mount I made. made from alum. tube and uses brackets attached to hose clamps to attach it to the roll bar. Coated with duplicolor bedliner of course. The hose clamps are covered by the roll bar pad and after almost 2 years of it being there it hasnt become loose or made a rattle. Best part for me is I didnt have to drill any holes or worry about it falling off.

I know it is hard to see very well

If you would like more pics or info let me know.

Forgive my ignorance, but why can't we get and use this here in the States? That is perfect for our JKs!

Ive been debating for the longest time where i wanted to put a CB in my JK, After looking at some of these setups i might just have to steal either Xiphos idea or Widowmakers idea, i guess now it just depends on the type of CB i get. Thanks for the pics guys
