I pulled the dash panel partially off and wired to the back of the power outlet. That way I can leave on when the Jeep is off. It's a low draw item so you can use the outlet for anything else as well as the CB power.

Just got done searching for 45 minutes in the fuse block with my voltmeter.. I could find no easy source for a keyed power source. I guess it will be a battery hook up. I'm not real happy with that but I guess thats what I have left. Nobody found a good source of keyed power yet? I kinda miss the old hays where not only was there a space on the fuse block for keyed or unkeyed 12v power but it was even labeled.

Red to hot on battery black to ground on battery. Just do it.

You all who run straight to the battery, do you have any issues whatsoever? That's what I considered doing, but I've seen many setups like that go haywire and fry stuff
