"The Morse Code" when you rearrange the letters you get "HERE COME DOTS."

Not many people know Morse Code anymore, so...
"Here come dots and dashes."
turns into...
"The Morse Code has sad end."

There's lots out there that still know code. I'm in the process of learning it myself

The code is still VERY popular. One reason being, is that a "tone" can travel through that atmosphere/s better than a voice. So even during the worst propagation (sunspot cycle) it is likely that morse code operators can still carry on a qso, where it could be next to impossible for those HAMs using voice (phone).

So do I....I had to to get my ticket. But I let it go too. I don't think I could do 5 wpm right now if my life depended on it. It's too bad too, because when you're good at it, it really is like knowing another language. The die hard "code-ists" rarely ever, or never use phone. I've seen guys so good that they could sit there carrying on a morse code qso, verbally talk to you in the room, and eat a sandwich to boot. Pretty incredible really.

Well unless you go with solid state, most the amps are still using tubes. Is that the name (Digital Co.) on your 5K amp? Are they the old computer company out of MA.?
