Just remeber if you cut any panels or mount you C.B. with the speaker down , the sound will be muffled or you won't be able to hear it at all. You will have to invest in an external speaker.....there is a plug in on the back of most citizen band (C.B.) radios for the speaker. I will try and take some pics of the one in my semi.....but it is pretty much overkill since I run an amp with it (since us truckers try and walk over each others signals....Kinda like having the big dog syndrome..LOL ) I just wonder how the sound is on those all-in-one c.b.'s some of you guys are running....especially with the top and doors off rolling down a paved road ?

Cobra 29 is the only way to go for this retired trucker, unless you want a converted radio. With a few mods it will become a great talker...

For guys that have mounted radios above the rear view mirror.....how long of an antenna cable did you need to get to the tailgate?
