Default Teraflex's Antenna Quick Disconnect Rusting?

After less than one year and only one Winter in Seattle the Teraflex got like this.Click image for larger version

Is this normal? We do not have road salt here in Seattle, just plenty rain.
Do you apply anything such as WD-40 on it to prevent this rust?

If anything just contact TeraFlex. They back their products 100%. They will either tell you a quick simple fix or make things right with ya

You want a metal on metal contact so its almost impossible to use a material that wont corrode, you can try using dielectric grease though.

My Teraflex quick disconect swaybar rusted out too. Replaced with Electric Mopar swaybar.
