Uniden PRO520XL CB mount pics
Here is my mount of the Uniden PRO520XL ... I've posted some actions shots too so you can see it does not interfere with shifting gears or the transfer case.
Right now I'm using the right 12v outlet for dirty power, plan on running back to the fuse box eventually. Also the mic is removed for the pic but you can mount on the side of the center dash, i.e. the Versamount or what not.
A good bump while in 1, 3 or 5 gear will cause the floppy shifter to slap the CB. I realize this would not be a happy place for everyone but I've been feeling good about it.
Excuse the poor quality pics, I lost the battery to my nice camera and used my phone.

Very nice. Good choice in locations. Don't know why, but it never even dawned on my that it would fit there.
I bought a bracket from Quadratec to mount it against the left side of the center console like this:
A little tight but it's easy to reach on the fly.
