I have been wanting to buy a CB. But didn't know what to get. Can anyone help me? I don't want anything to big , or anything to pricey.

 

I'm a fan of the Cobra 75 wx, mostly due to the small size. There are lots of write-ups here about those and others. Do a bit of research on here and you should find all the info you need to make the right choice for you. Good luck.

 

I started with the cobra 29. Loved it so much I modified it to put out 40 watts. Also put a linear on it with selectable wattage 50/150/300watt. I mainly did this because I got tired of having people talk over me all the time when I driver thru the big cities. 95% of the time I'm on at 4watts. I will admit this mobile rig is a tad illegal for a C.B.. But the basic 29 or 29ltd will work just fine.
